Welcoming a new baby is always special—but when it’s the fourth time we’ve had the honor of photographing a growing family, it’s even more meaningful. This recent newborn photography session in our Chicago studio was extra sweet, as we got to celebrate the arrival of baby number four for one of our long-time clients.

We are so grateful for the trust and loyalty of families who return to us year after year. It means the world to watch their little ones grow and to continue being a part of their most cherished moments. For this session, we chose a stunning maroon color for a few of the baby’s wraps and setups. It was rich, warm, and absolutely gorgeous on her! Maroon isn’t a color we use often for newborns, but it brought such a unique and elegant feel to the portraits, especially when paired with soft neutrals and textures.

We also incorporated beautiful floral elements throughout the session to keep everything soft, feminine, and extra girly. From dainty headbands to blooming floral backgrounds, every setup was thoughtfully styled to showcase the beauty of this baby girl and create timeless portraits her family will treasure forever.
